Long Dresses: A Keeper for Next Spring and Summer

Long dresses or Maxi dresses are the perfect every occasion dress that should be in your closet. This wardrobe piece can transition from a casual day to an elegant night look. This was a very popular item this past spring and summer and I predict that it will again be just as popular in the months to come. It is an easy effortless item to throw on, but able to appear as though it was a planned outfit.

Depending on your height you can wear flats or cute wedges with this dress. I usually wear gladiator sandals or cute ballet flats so I don’t make the hem length of the dress a “high water” look.

A printed maxi dress can be a fun festive option and is always good to have. A solid color dress is a more versatile option and you can always find one that has intricate detailing or pair it with a cute belt to change it up. The accessories will be the main component that will change the dress from day to night. Pair it with a thin scarf for a cute day look and then add a long necklace or chunky earrings with some bangles for an out on the town look.

This clothing item can even transition into the early months of fall by pairing a nice scarf and cardigan with it as well as some cute ankle books. You can even pair tall boots with the dress and wear a fitted long sleeve shirt underneath to give a layered casual look.
